About the Book
Last year God gave Rachel the opportunity to speak at a ladies' session of a King James Bible Conference in Knoxville, TN on the topic "The Woman's Role in the Home". Since that time she has been encouraged by her husband, her pastor, a pastor/book distributor as well as others to have what she spoke on put into print. After much prayer, the Lord has recently allowed her to have a booklet published.
Read Rachel's testimony and what God has given her through His Word in this area of "keepers at home". She deals with the Christian woman's relationship to her Lord, her husband, her children and other women. It is her prayer that God would use this to encourage other women in their walk with the Lord.
This booklet would be a wonderful gift for ladies meetings, Mother's Day services, Mother/Daughter banquets, new brides, new mothers, etc.

I have been privileged to pastor the Harkins family for almost five years and it has been a blessing of mine to see how God uses those who are willing to be used. After much prayer and tears, Rachel has taken pen in hand to help other mothers understand their place in the home and with God. Her six children and husband are proof that a mother who loves God and serves Him faithfully will be blessed with a family that loves God and her.
I feel this book needs to be read by every mother, young and old. I also encourage other pastors to read this book and get it for every young mother they know. Rachel Harkins has been blessed to be a "keeper at home" for over twenty-four years. For the past fifteen years she has home schooled her six children, ranging in age from twenty-one to five years of age. Rachel also enjoys teaching Sunday School and singing with her husband and children in their church.
